TD2 Episodio 3 (Title Update 7) – Coney Island: The Hunt

Terzo e ultimo Episodio gratuito dell’Anno 1 di The Division 2 disponibile con il Title Update 7, fa da prologo per l’espansione Warlords of New York dell’anno 2.

“Da quando è scoppiata l’epidemia, ci siamo messi in cerca di una cura. Crediamo che lo scienziato in grado di aiutarci sia tenuto prigioniero a Coney Island. A quanto pare, è sotto la stretta sorveglianza dei Black Tusk. Non c’è tempo per essere cauti, agente. Portalo. Via. Da lì.”

Sarà necessario tornare a New York per salvare Vitaly Tchernenko, il virologo rapito da Aaron Keener su The Division 1. Tchernenko, che aveva legami con Gordon Amherst (colui che ha creato e diffuso il Veleno Verde) non deve finire nelle mani sbagliate.

Note: 

  • L’esperienza di gioco a New York sarà molto diversa rispetto a The Division 1.
  • L’illuminazione globale dell’area di Coney Island è uno degli aspetti centrali del comparto grafico di questo episodio. Nello specifico vedremo molta Nebbia Volumetrica.
  • Non sarà possibile esplorare la zona di Coney Island liberamente, si potrà esplorare solo un’ampia zona dedicata alle missioni narrative.
  • I Cleaners (Purificatori) faranno il loro ritorno come nuova fazione per questo episodio.
  • Sono passati 8 mesi dall’uccisione di Joe Ferro, ma i Cleaners sono ancora attivi e molto più tattici, nonostante questo i barili di carburante sugli NPC sono negli stessi identici punti di TD1 (soprattutto nei tank).
  • Nonostante la città sia nel caos, alcune strutture sono ancora attive e permettono l’utilizzo della corrente elettrica come nel parco visibile nel trailer.
  • La storia di questo episodio citerà alcune cose viste in TD1 e soprattutto farà capire ai giocatori quale sarà il futuro narrativo del gioco.

    • Colpendo 30 volte alla testa consente di avere +20% Probabilità Colpo Critico e +50% Danno Critico per 45 secondi.
    • Colpendo 60 volte il corpo consente di avere +100% Danno Arma per 45 secondi.
    • Colpendo 30 volte alle gambe dei nemici avremo +150% di rapidità nel caricamento.

  • Arma distintiva: Lanciafiamme K8-JetStream
  • Granata: Cluster (a grappolo)
  • Pistola: Firestarter
  • Variante abilità: per Scudo Balistico

 

Dettagli: 

  • L’idea dietro questa specializzazione è di stare vicino ai nemici per fare più danno.
  • Variante abilità: lo “Scudo Striker” permette di usare lo scudo ed il lanciafiamme nello stesso momento.
  • È presente un perk che da 10% di danni in più agli alleati entro 10 metri.
  • Un altro perk consente di incendiare i nemici entro i 5 metri quando la corazza viene distrutta del tutto.
  • +50% di bonus armatura nel movimento tra un riparo all’altro.
  • -50% resistenza al fuoco verso i nemici colpiti dal Firestarter per 5 secondi, ergo sarà possibile applicare lo status incendiario anche ai nemici che normalmente sono immuni a questo danno.
  • La granata “Cluster” si divide in piccole granate che applicano danno da fuoco.
  • Mod armi: “Tactital Shot Grip” +10% Danno Critico.
  • Kit Corazza: ripristina 200% salute e 200% corazza per 10 secondi.

 

Disponibile per tutti dal livello 30 con l’uscita dell’Episodio 3. Per sbloccarla è necessario affrontare la Ricerca Speciale: una sfida di gioco su livelli, ognuno con il proprio set di obiettivi e ricompense. La Specializzazione viene sbloccata immediatamente per i titolari del Pass Anno 1, ma è comunque possibile partecipare alla Ricerca Speciale, così da sbloccare ricompense esclusive. Sarà possibile, inoltre, comprare un “Pacchetto Specializzazione” con crediti premium e sbloccare solo questa specializzazione.

Ricompense estetiche della Ricerca Speciale: Elmetto, Maglia, Pantaloni e Maschera Antincendio. In aggiunta sarà possibile sbloccare le skin Caldera e Basalt per le armi normali, mentre la skin per l’arma distintiva sarà Mondana. Tra i colori, invece, avremo Lago di Lava e Tremor Gear.

Hardcore Mode

  • Disconnecting from the server while being in a downed state will now cause the character to perish.
  • Downed hardcore agents will now automatically decline group invites.
  • Leaving a group while in a downed state will now cause the character to perish.

Gameplay changes

  • Players will now respawn at the last checkpoint in a mission when restarting the game.
  • Added additional exotic weapons to the wall in the Shooting Range.

Balancing changes

  • [Nerf] Status effect diminishing returns have been adjusted to reduce the duration of immune effects.
  • [Nerf] PVP multiplier for Shotguns reduced by 20%.
  • [Nerf] PVP multiplier for Double Barrel Shotguns reduced by 40%.

Store

  • Textiles are now live! When receiving a duplicate from a Standard Apparel Cache, players will now receive textiles that can be used to directly purchase a wide variety of apparel items in the store.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a bug that caused Explosive damage to shields to not correctly scale with the PVP modifier.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause a crash in Conflict modes under certain circumstances.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed fast travelling to off-site activities despite a player in the group not having access. This prevented all party members from accessing off-site activities.
  • Fixed an issue that caused hair to clip through the Black Tusk Combat Uniform cap on female characters.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the “MK5 Scope”, “Special Forces 9mm Mag”, “Fixed Tightly Packed Magazine” and “Stiff Integrated Spring” blueprints to be missing from the crafting bench.
  • Fixed an issue causing the Cluster Seeker Mines to reach unintended targets and getting stuck as a result.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause a player to become stuck in the revive animation when reviving an ally that was being revived by the Reviver Hive. Reviveception…
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the agent to equip a primary weapon after using a Skill while having the Specialization Weapon equipped, instead of switching back to the Specialization Weapon.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause players to fast travel to a position they were hovering over instead of travelling to the previously locked in position.
